The Flint Room is one of Norwich’s most exciting licensed venues for celebrating non-religious wedding ceremonies. It resides inside a beautiful medieval (deconsecrated) Church incorporating the history of Norwich and bringing happiness and celebration back into the magnificent building. A Church that is not a Church! We offer our customers a magical space, something totally unique and unlike no other. We offer you a warm, friendly 5 star welcome, quality time and endless support through your journey - our goal is for your special day to be solely about you and we will work with you and your families to ensure that goal is achieved.
The joint owners, Lesley and Trish, work closely with independent celebrants and registrars to celebrate unity in all its forms. At the Flint Room, there is no discrimination as absolutely everyone is welcome. Lesley and Trish will make sure your special day is one to remember.
A little piece of history... the building’s former name was St John De Sepulchre (also St John The Theologian) and was situated close to one of old Norwich’s City gates. It may very well be the best known of all the Norwich churches and rides high on the bluff of Ber Street. The top of its tower was once the highest point in the city.
So what are you waiting for…….. the former Church has now been lovingly brought back to life (and some) by two very enthusiastic, creative and passionate owners working with the full support of Norwich Historic Churches Trust.
